The Swedish National Board of Student Aid, CSN, is the national authority that handle the Swedish financial aid for students; i.e. loan and grant for studies. We also handle the recruitment grant; a grant you may receive if you meet certain criteria. studera.nu is constructed on the initiative of the National Agency for Higher Education. The aim is to provide prospective Swedish students with a one-stop Internet site containing relevant information about higher education opportunities. SU - The Danish students' Grants and Loans Scheme in Denmark. Every Dane over the age of 18 is entitled to public support for his or her further education - regardless of social standing. Tuition at Danish public and most private educational institutions is free. Society lends students a helping hand in covering living costs for a great variety of courses and studies.
The Centre for Danish Studies organises courses that award degree points in Danish language, Danish history, modern Danish culture, and contemporary Danish politics, while shorter, intensive Danish language courses are arranged in Copenhagen. The Centre also acts together with its network of researchers to arrange a series of seminars and conferences. Our aim is to promote research into Denmark and to contribute to the development of new research programmes, in co-operation with researchers throughout Sweden and Denmark and from farther afield.
